Personalized Nutrition Counseling

If you're ready to feel good in your body, support your health, and nourish yourself without another diet — you're in the right place!

What's Included:

  • Personalized Plan – Together, we’ll explore your unique goals, food history, and other important information. We’ll identify the unhelpful patterns and beliefs holding you back and create a roadmap for building a balanced, sustainable relationship with food. After every session, you’ll leave with practical, personalized goals that align with your life and values.
  • Practical Tools for Real-Life Eating – You’ll gain actionable strategies to navigate eating situations with confidence—whether it’s meal planning, handling social gatherings, or enjoying food without guilt. These tools will help you feel empowered to make decisions that support both your health and well-being and your enjoyment of food.
  • Behavior and Mindset Shifts – We’ll work on distancing from dieting tools (like calorie counting or the scale) and external rules (like eat X, avoid Y) and help you tune into your body’s natural signals instead. You’ll learn how to challenge and quiet the internal “food police,” making space for more self-compassion and trust in your choices.
  • Professional Expertise from a Qualified Coach – As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I bring a research-backed, compassionate approach to every session. I’m committed to staying current with professional education and evidence-based practices to ensure you feel supported in your journey to confident, competent eating.
  • Accountability and Support Between Sessions – In addition to our regular video calls, you’ll have access to me via secure messaging. This space allows you to share questions, reflections, or challenges as they come up, so you’ll never feel alone on your journey.

What Makes Working with Me Different

When you work with me, you'll experience an approach to nutrition and wellness that goes beyond the usual "eat this, not that" advice. Here's how my services stand out:

  • A Non-Diet, Research-Based Approach – I help you step away from restrictive diets and food rules and toward a sustainable, confident relationship with food that truly supports your health.
  • Whole-Person Focus – You’re more than a set of food choices. I consider your unique goals, lifestyle, and values, helping you find balance and flexibility in a way that feels realistic and meaningful to you.
  • Neurodivergent-Affirming Care – I understand that hunger cues, routines, and sensory experiences with food can look different for neurodivergent brains. I won’t ask you to follow generic advice that assumes everyone’s brain works the same way — instead, we’ll build strategies that actually fit how you think, feel, and function.
  • Compassionate, Judgment-Free Support – No matter your body size, the number on the scale, how many diets you’ve been on, what you eat (or don’t eat), I don’t judge. Life is hard, and navigating food and health is even harder sometimes. I provide a safe space to explore your relationship with food and body without guilt or shame.
  • Practical Solutions for Real Life – Nutrition shouldn’t feel like another chore. I focus on creating sustainable habits that fit seamlessly into your day-to-day life—no complicated meal plans required.
  • Personal Experience with Food Freedom – My own journey with food and body image has shaped the way I work with clients, giving me a unique ability to empathize with and support your challenges.
  • A Balance of Structure and Flexibility – I won’t hand you rigid meal plans or lists of foods to avoid. Instead, I’ll help you build a framework that gives you both structure and freedom to confidently navigate food choices.
  • Down-to-Earth and Relatable – I believe nutrition should feel approachable, not intimidating. I’ll meet you where you are with humor, kindness, and practical advice that fits your life.
  • Empowerment Over Dependence – My goal is to help you build lifelong skills so you can trust yourself to make choices that work for your body, health, and goals—long after our work together is done.

Imagine being completely comfortable with what you eat, when you eat, and how much you eat.

Frequently Asked Questions

Each session is individualized based on YOUR needs and goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.

To ensure I can best understand your needs and goals, we’ll spend the first session reviewing your intake paperwork, diving deeper into your goals, and creating actionable steps for you to start implementing right away.

In follow-up sessions, we will continue navigating your challenges relating to food, implement realistic solutions that fit your needs, and practice skills around food and eating that support your goals.

If you’re tired of diets that work for a little while and then stop working, you’re in the right place. I won’t put you on another diet — diets don’t tend to create lasting change, and that’s not your fault.

Instead, we’ll focus on building a sustainable relationship with food and body that supports your health long-term — without rigid rules, restriction, or a plan you can’t keep up with. That often does support weight-related goals along the way, but it isn’t built around the scale. It’s built around what actually works for your life.

We’ll figure out where the nutrition research meets the reality of your day-to-day, so the changes we make are ones you can actually stick with — because sustainable, easeful habits are the ones that last.

You can absolutely work on your health condition without going on a diet. My approach is weight-neutral, meaning we focus directly on the behaviors and habits that support your condition — like blood sugar, blood pressure, digestion, or energy — instead of focusing on weight loss as the only path to improvement.

If you’re managing something like PCOS, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a GI condition, we’ll build an eating pattern around what actually helps your body function well, and I’ll work alongside your medical team as needed. If you already follow a specific diet for allergies, intolerances, or a medical need, we can build your competence and confidence within those needs — without adding restrictive rules on top of what you’re already managing.

Yes! I support clients who are neurodivergent. Things like inconsistent hunger cues, executive function challenges around meals, sensory sensitivities with food, and difficulty with routine are common and can make eating more challenging. We’ll build strategies that actually fit how your brain works, instead of generic advice that assumes everyone’s brain works the same way.

I practice from an Eating Competence framework. Eating Competence is the practical, day-to-day piece — “Eating Competence is being positive, comfortable, and flexible with eating as well as matter-of-fact and reliable about getting enough to eat of enjoyable food.” It’s going to meals hungry (not starving) and eating until satisfied. It’s eating foods you enjoy in amounts that feel good, without being so controlling that joy gets left out. It’s overeating sometimes and undereating other times, because you’re human, not a machine following rules. It’s trusting yourself to eat in response to hunger, what’s available, your feelings, or your schedule — and being flexible about it.

Research shows people with higher Eating Competence tend to have better nutrition, more physical activity, better sleep, and better medical markers.
